Northeast Wisconsin County Fairs
County fairs are a great family activity offering entertainment such as big top shows,
barns and buildings filled with farm animals, horse shows, and crafted exhibits
along with carnival rides and midway games. Grand stand entertainment often features
special events such as tractor and horse pulls, auto and motorcycle stunts,
and well-known bands.

Location: Seymour. When: Early July.

Four fun-filled days of entertainment. A reasonable general admission ticket entitles
all to free, unlimited rides with our new, expanded carnival, hot bands on our Midway Stage,
and continuous afternoon family shows in our big top show tent,
not to mention barns and building filled to capacity with 100's of farm animals,
horse shows and hand crafted exhibits. Grandstand entertainment includes Mike Foster's Night
Of Thrills Auto and Motorcycle Stunt Show, Farm Tractor Pull, Horse Pull, and Demolition Derby.
The gigantic parade through downtown Luxemburg will be on Sunday morning.

The Wisconsin State Fair has something for
everyone featuring a wide variety of activities, demonstrations and entertainment that begin early
each morning and run long into the warm evenings.The Wisconsin State Fair hosts approximately
22,000 entries, awards more than $400,000 in premiums and distributes more than 30,000 ribbons
to the Midwest's finest dairy and beef cattle, draft horses, goats, sheep, swine, llamas,
rabbits and poultry, not to mention cakes, cookies, pies, canned goods, quilts, needlepoint,
woven items, floral arrangements, and of course, dairy products. One of the Fair's best kept secrets
are the 28 stages of FREE entertainment located throughout the Park which feature national,
regional and local musical acts, as well as family entertainment, karaoke, cooking demonstrations and
educational programs. A day at the Fair would not be complete without sampling the world-renowned
Fair original - the Wisconsin State Fair Cream Puff. Since 1924, the Wisconsin Bakers Association has
used its special recipe to make these Dairy State delicacies each year. The 2004 Fair sold more than
360,000 cream puffs over the course of 11 days.

Vendors, merchants, and arts and craft folk will have all kinds of unique fun and interesting
wares on the midway and in the merchants building. Carnival rides, food stands and more.
